Registration for the Inaugural Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry (MoMC) 2025 is now open.


Registration Fees

All fees are quoted in Australian dollars ($AUD) and are indicative of 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax). To register for the Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2025, please do so through the online registration portal.

Social Functions

Welcome Reception

Location: Mary Kathleen Memorial Park, Cloncurry
Date and Time: Wednesday 10 September 1630-1930h

Welcome one welcome all, it’s the first all-in evening to catch up over good food, drinks, have some fun and experience the outback way of life. This ticket is included in the registration fee. Additional tickets can be purchased through the registration form.

State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Networking Breakfast

Location: Leichhardt Hotel
Date and Time: Thursday 11 September 0700-0830h

We invite you to the Leichhardt Hotel for a networking breakfast, proudly supported by The Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning.

Join your peers at a platform for networking and knowledge sharing among industry professionals, stakeholders, and guest speaker, Gareth Forde – Principal Engineer, All Energy. Tickets are included in a full delegate registration, RSVP required as space is limited. Reserve your spot via the registration form.

Conference Dinner

Location: Shire Hall, Cloncurry Shire Council
Date and Time: Thursday, 11 September 1900-2300h

The MOMC 2025 dinner is an exclusive event limited to 200 attendees. Priority access will be given to conference participants on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to secure your ticket quickly to ensure you don’t miss out on this extraordinary night.

Beat the Heat Street Party

Location: Daintree St, Cloncurry (outside Cloncurry Shire Council)
Date and Time: Friday 12 September from 1700h

The Beat the Heat Street Party is also organised by Cloncurry Shire Council and includes live music, a mine cart rally, a curry cook-off, food vendors and free children's amusements. Approximately 1,500 people attend the street party, made up predominantly of locals and intrastate travellers.

Cloncurry & District Races

Location: Cloncurry & District Race Club
Date and Time: Saturday 13 September from 1100h

The Cloncurry & District Race Club have been racing since the 1880’s and are one of the most successful race clubs in the North-West. Join us for one of the annual races at the VIP MOMC Marquee.


Terms and Conditions

Cancellation of Registration Deadline: 10 July 2025

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat at registration@meetingofthemines.com.au . Cancellations made by 10 July 2025 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 10 July 2025 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 10 July 2025 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The host reserves final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registering. The Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

The Meeting of the Mines 2025 and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The host and the Meeting of the Mines Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such an alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the host and the Meeting of the Mines Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of money caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Meeting of the Mines does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft, or damage to belongings.

Note, participants may be photographed or filmed at any time. By attending, you consent to the use, publication, or reproduction of your image or recording in any form of communication material used to promote the event and report on its events through publications and resource materials. If you do not wish to have your image photographed or filmed, please contact the secretariat in advance or on-site to advise you of your preference.

Meeting of the Mines Postponement

In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Meeting of the Mines dates. All components of your registration, including accommodation bookings, Gala Dinner, Welcome reception, network breakfast, Beat the heat Street Party, and Cloncurry Races, will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Meeting of the Mines Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

Meeting of the Mines Cancellation

In the event of the cancellation of the Meeting of the Mines, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
