Cancellation of Registration Deadline: Friday, 10 July 2026

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the MoMC 2026 Conference Secretariat. Cancellations made before Friday 10 July 2026 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by this date without incurring a cost penalty. This needs to be sent to the Conference Secretariat in writing to be approved by the Cloncurry Shire Council before the transfer can be completed. Refunds for cancellations received after Sunday, 13 July 2026, will only be made in exceptional circumstances and must be supported by documentation. Decisions will be made at the discretion of the Cloncurry Shire Council on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is strongly recommended that delegates arrange personal travel insurance at the time of registering, and it is the responsibility of the delegate to organise their own visa to enter Australia. The MoMC 2026 Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

Delegates must note that some social functions may reach their capacity limits and tickets are only guaranteed on a first come first served basis. No refunds will be provided for a transfer of registration. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registration. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers via Email.

All best endeavours will be made to present the program as published on the website. Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026 and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The host and the Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026 Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the host and the Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026 Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026 does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Note: Participants may be photographed or filmed at any time. By attending, you consent to the use, publication, or reproduction of your image or recording in any form of communication material used to promote the event and report on its events through publications and resource materials. If you do not wish to have your image photographed or filmed, please contact the secretariat in advance or onsite to advise of your preference.

In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026 dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings, Conference Dinner, Welcome Reception, Beat the Heat Street Party, and Cloncurry Races, will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026 Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

In the event of the cancellation of the Meeting of the Mines Cloncurry 2026, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
