Meeting of the Mines aligns with the annual Beat The Heat Festival which runs from 13 to 15 September, 2024.
Beat The Heat is an opportunity for locals and tourists to come together and celebrate Cloncurry’s mining and pastoral history. It includes a Street Party, Spring Races, Markets and plenty of entertainment. The Street Party has live music, a mine cart rally, a curry cook-off, food vendors and free children’s amusements.
Meeting of the Mines Conference Delegates are invited to extend their stay and attend the Friday night Street Party and Saturday’s Cloncurry & District Races.
